dog helps with pruning

Recommended Posts

Don't let him do that. You'll have him writhing around on his back if you do.... :D

Seriously, although my dads dogs will do it on occasion, it's not good as a lot of garden plants are very toxic.

Nothing a spaniel does surprises me. Having had 2 ESS's The last one we had was caught regularly raiding the raspberry canes.

When I prune stuff in the garden my ESS is keen...no, very keen....no, psychopathic in his desire to drag the pruned branches to another corner of the garden....He also robs apples from the ground or off low branches!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

We used to have a GSD who did this. Wasn't until we spotted him doing it that we realised where all the apples were going!

My great-aunt had a border collie that used to dig up beetroot and eat them

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
Vaut mieux ne rien dire et passer pour un con que de parler et prouver que t'en est un!

Dogs have the queerest appetites. My Westie bitch loves carrots and will grab them as soon as you dig them up, then hide under the potato rows to crunch her prize. She won't touch shop-bought ones though.
