Even the big bang theory is being reanalysed as some scientists thing that you couldnt get the universe out of nothing but as one Professor says it depends how you define nothing
What do you mean "Even the big bang theory is being re-analysed" Do you think that the Big Bang theory (god how I hate that name, there was no "bang") was somehow sacrosanct and immune from being revisited?

 

 

EVERY theory is re-analysed just about every day. The professor you are alluding to is Lawrence Krauss. If you have an hour to spare you can listen to him talk about nothing and how you can build a universe from that below.

No I didnt think it was sacrosant just rather surprised that it was challenged by more "experts"

Oh I don't know astrologers are pretty good for a laugh too. Have you ever wondered why astrologers can't do "reverse look-ups"? If you tell them your star sign they can tell all sort of cr@p about you, but no matter how much you tell them about someone they can never deduce their star sign from the information given.

Well it's not really being challenged, it's just that there might have been more than one of them. There might be millions of little big bangs popping into existence all the time, like a big bath of cosmic bubbles, with each bubble being it's own universe. It may have been big, but there was no bang, more like a rapid expansion. Think of a balloon being blown up at a very high speed, rather than a huge explosion.
