Armed Robber Killed

As to "suicide by cops", it does happen and it does fit. How else to describe the actions of a person who knows he holds an unloaded gun (or a pipe in dim light) but will aim it at an officer even after the officer has ordered him to drop it?

"Dumb as rocks"?

i have new under stood "armed" police (or robbers) if they didnt have at least one they couldnt hold a gun or get to the place where the robbery is driving a car

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

..its simply the case that guns; for us; still have a very high impact on our culture and fear levels.

I notice how British people on holiday here react when police or Guardia Civil walk into a bar for a coffee or whatever.

Perfectly normal here but it is funny how they cant keep their eyes off the weapon when they should just be enjoying their beer.

And in spain you nearly three times more likely to die from sudden lead poisoning :bones:

If you ask for it yes.

I spent an hour this morning with a police commissioner who used to be in charge of the TEDAX unit in Madrid,

They deal with any kind of explosive threat, conventional, radioactive or chemical. It was really interesting. So were some of the stories about what the tourists get up to..:shutup:

I remember the first time I saw a armed cop. It was in Bari airport in Italy. I was only 17 at the time and the cop didn't look that much older than I. He was swaggering about the baggage reclaim area with a bloody Uzi and I could not take my eyes off it.

The next time I had a similar experience was in Port Klang in Malaysia. I went into a bank to cash a cheque. In the bank there was an armed security guard. I've no Idea what kind of weapon he had, it was like a rifle with a short barrel and it had a bore on it like Wookey Hole, I couldn't keep my eyes of that one either.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
