Trev had an old school friend and his wife visiting today for coffee and cakes,they had not seen each other for 50 years -- so I thought i would make an effort. If things were different this may have been a good retirement idea for making a bit of cash

,cakes anyone?

Lovely ,shame the cups are childrens tea set sized

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

 

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Very pretty nursey ,we have some susie cooper in the loft but far to small a cup to make tea worth drinking from them

Who mentioned tea? The title is morning coffee and it's a coffee pot on the table :)

Very lovely. Chesters1 wouldn't notice bone china without a bit of meat left on the bone.

As for the treats. You'll be spoiling the British image I have. I love butter cream icings. I thought all you could do was boil stuff.

The cake & coffee look great. Save some for me.

 

I'm impressed that a school friend & wife who hadn't seen each other for over 50 years thought that your place would be good for a reunion. That's wonderful.
