A hedgehog baking tray?

Scots don't eat hedgehogs

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

No but allegedly some travelling communities do...

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Allegedly so. There used to be someone who posted on here, I can't remeber his name now, maybe some of the other old timers will remember. Anyway I remember him saying that you would have to be bloody hungry to eat a hedghog because the tasted like faeces.

Nice pretty green flames.

Hmm... :D

I think you would be able to moderate the reaction and produce more of a puddle of molten copper and less of a smoking hole in the ground by adding some quantity of finely divided copper to it.

I'm quite amused by some of the arguments from ignorance being made. The honest answer is "I haven't got a clue what it is for" and leave it at that.

The alloy RWP exploded much better than that Steve,

I remember putting an aerosol can on a bonfire once when I was a kid. That could have ended pretty badly!

And blowing myself up with confined sodium chlorate and cotton wool.

Still, at least I didn't do the copper oxide thermite reaction indoors like my old chemistry teacher did. He was good fun, Dr James, revisited the alkali metals demo that we'd previously seen done at school with little slivers of metal, except that he was lobbing big chunks in from several feet away and setting fire to benches and bookcases in the process. If you wanted to know what phosgene poisoning feels like, he was your man!

The "arguments from ignorance", you refer to Cory, are just suggestions made in reply to Andys query. The only argument I've seen have come from you.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John
