He's asleep on the sofa again. I've tried prising the remote control, ever so gently, from his hands. He said"Nffahh blmp anh".

Can anybody decipher this?

Chesters, are you fluent in this language, given that it's origins are Erse?

I have said in my gentle, matronly, (ta, Jim), voice, " maybe you should go to bed",

He said, "Nrrrghhh", and sent a coded message via another orifice.

C'mon girls.....advice, please.

Saw spasor last night, propping up the bar at a Weymouth Quay hostelry and taking some medicinal beverage!

 

Expect a fishing report some time over the weekend, I would think.

Nothing secret about it, he just loks a bit daft when he's piking in the WW2 army issue one.

 

The one he got from Ann Summers is a bit short for wearing in the winter though so he only uses it during the summer.

I no what it means, 'Nffahh' enough 'blmp' blimin 'anh' cider - thou very slurred. Thou knowing this person you describe, I doubt very much if he's ever had enough, the only way I know to get the b*gger of the sofa and that's to tell him the pub's open. By the time he's walked down the road at 1 - 2am to find it shut (again ), hopefully the fresh air might have sobered him up a bit. Or, IF you can get the remote from under his backside, stick the Teletubbies video on full blast volume, plug the ear phones in and wrap around his ears
