Op done now home recovering

Had my op on tue but they kept me in overnight as i was very drowsy afterwards and could not keep anything down.

They let me home on wednesday morning after having breakfast and keeping it down.

Bit sore and black and blue but happy to have it done with.

BP fine.

Strange thing is last night i had lots and lots of weird dreams and some of them were quite disturbing and i struggled to awake from them.

Must be the painkillers or the after effects of the anesthetic :confused: .

Many thanks for all your good luck messages and i look forward to getting out fishing again.

I dont think i could start to describe the dreams as some had personal content in them.

In one dream i was hiding from some world war 2 german soldiers!!!!

I another i and some friends were struggling in deep water on some sort of platform and ropes.

Hope i dont have anymore tonight.

Good luck to you Tyke I hope that along with many others your speedy recovery get yourself well enough to able to cope with whatever you wish to do........if in the meantime you could describe a dream or two it might be iteresting but don't incriminate yourself

Glad to hear things went well,hope the pretty nurses looked after you well.The anesthetic can have strange effects on some people.Don't rush back to work,as you have a heavy job,take your time and enjoy th erest and the dreams
