Mandela's memorial

RUDD

He was a good man but also a political pawn in a game of chess that Africa plays with itself and the west.

I believe he was mentally impaired after a long time in prison where he would have had beatings and torture for most of his life.

Sadly the vultures and the pick pockets and the looters followed him on his release.

Looking at the family’s wealth which they never disguised what would the unemployed black man on the streets must have thought. The man who had a paid job on the plantations and was quite happy to be so.

There were winners and losers in Mandela’s release and although his intent was of freedom for the blacks it also came at a heavy price to many.

More lives lost after his release than during his incarceration, Winnie was a lead player in the brutal regime waged in his name.

She was a big fan of necklacing in the name of the ANC, and there she was today mourning NM. Ought to have been arrested and tried for murder

Seems to me it was a memorial for the people but a media opportunity for rock stars, models and world leaders!

And with media coverage people know your not at home

And then an uninvited fake signer on stage, who suffers from schizophrenia who sometime does violent things when he hears voices in his head ! ! FFS the president of the USofA was praising mandela next to him, imagine what would have happened if that fella had a knife or gun, !

Err i thought obama did violent things when voices spoke to him ,his actions have killed and maimed far more than the fake signer i am positive.

Give him a damn gun and i'm sure obamas enemies would applaud the action

Obama and mandella are pretty similar both have done f all for the poor but made themselves very wealthy doing it ,has a black leader actually achieved anything other than feather their own nest?, its bad enough the whites only barely do anything ,mind you saville row ,rolls royce and gold thrones r us are not complaining

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Sorry Guys, But to me MENDELA was a Murdering Terrorist, no more no less and, they are doing the same over here with the IRA,both have killed and committed

atrocities to get where they are, ask Mendel's victims that are still alive what they think of him and, do the same with the IRAs victims.

No I don't want anything to do with any of them, People forget to easily, never mind water under the bridge.

‘The pen is mightier than the sword’ it is said and i agree but there comes a time when the pen quite often runs out of ink... He was a freedom fighter not a terrorist and in my experience the two words mean dissimilar things.

Before apatite the racialism was mindboggling. I spent time in Cape Town before it. Blacks moving onto the road as whites walked by on the pavements and in many cases if they didn’t they were beaten up. Not allowed in bars or restaurants or supermarkets. It reminded me of the way the Jews were treated by the Nazi’s.

I think if my wife was beaten up because she stayed on the pavement because of whatever meaningless reason i would take up arms too.

Perhaps a great man is to stronger word but a good man fighting for what i think was for good reason .

Cal him what you will, but he will go down in South African history as the man that brought the blacks freedom.
