I thought the picture looked a bit odd The one in the gallery is a bit more convincing.

Nor me! I have never caught a carp of that size but I have caught a few other species around that weight and I have to say that I cannot lift over 70lbs with the ease he appears to be holding that carp.

Thats one of the best looking proportioned fish I've seen for a long time

The writer should be working for Angling Times though. He managed to get in more commercial plugs in a short article than Matt Hayes does in a centre spread

What a beautiful fish, thats one thing with commons they dont often look bloated and over weight like the mirrors imho
