Tell me about it Snatcher. I see this fantastic light every day BUT I'M IN THE BLOODY CAR ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK. It really gives me the willies. I've even taken the camera to work but have worked even later on those days.

How do you manage to maintain such an accurate level of exposure between sky & ground, I normally end up with some sort of sacrifice having to be made one way or the other?

Peter,

 

I bracketed the shot with the intention of making an HDR Image (one under exposed, one over exposed and one correct exposure). When I combined the three photos the sky was blown in a small area which I did not like at all. So I grabbed the under exposed image and tone mapped it for the result above.
