Time to resurrect this topic maybe.   A Wheatear, (migrating in for the summer) it was very close to where I parked for a walk yesterday and was still around when I got back, so I got the camera out

Playing catch up with everything at the moment after our 3 week "UK tour" !!! Its amazing how dependant you can become on Internet access :o


Just been checking this thread and I see I have been missing some quality shots :rolleyes: Having just come back from London I can give some input into the story behind that elephant picture. See here

The last picture gives you a bit of a clue why we were down in London. Well done WBFC for winning the FA Vase at Wembley for the second year running. Whitley Bay were well worth their 6-1 scoreline which included the fastest ever goal at the new stadium, a mere 21 seconds !!!!

Snatcher, great Elephant shots mate, nice and sharp and great colours.



Bobj, looks like you had a ball, i knew the termite mounds were big but never seen one as big as that before.
