Bottom of the page - didn't realise you'd been running the competitions for that long, Steve :D

Would have been worth mentioning that the Photography Competitions have little or no relevance to Angling.

Just out of curiosity why would it be worth mentioning that particular point.

This forum has been created from an angling based forum so what is the problem.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

The first one, Isle of Wight blah, blah has Closing Date: 18/October/2060 !!

I'll be 95 by then...:D

They do seem to seriously have a problem with dates though, when I submitted the piece it took 3 or 4 attempts, due to the dates...and nothing was written that resembles 1931..

Hmmm, 2060 so I'll be 115 but if it's all the same to everyone, I hope I'll be fishing. Dad had to quit when he was about 91 but I think maybe I can beat that.

Because the Competitions are not specific to Angling and anyone who is a keen Photographer but not a Fisherperson might assume that it is specific to Angling and not bother to have a look.

No problem at all, just making an observation.
