Snowing?

Here on the High Weald it has been very cold but sunny all day - there is now a coppery light to the north, so I guess those snow flurries they have had in Surrey are about to arrive..

I thought we were supposed to get it heavy in East Anglia, but apart from the odd shower, it's been bright and sunny most of the day.

 

My little daughter will be most disappointed

It is noticable on that road as it is just after a massive white wooden structure that goes over the road.

 

 

 

Which by strange coincidence has a large magpie on top of it if I remember correctly.

 

 

 

Sunny most of the day here in New Milton, but snowed heavily this afternoon for a half hour, it's gone now.

just driven back from frome to crewkerne, horrendous big snow storm, about 30 miles across, sky went black & temp droped from 3.5c to -1c, settling on fields, trees & dead badgers

Here in Ware, Herts it's about 50/50 blue sky and grey/white clouds. It's fairly warm in the sun but I suspect pretty chilly when it goes in. We had snow here this morning but just a light dusting really but it settled. The car just had frozen rain on when I got up though - and that's a pain to scrape off!

I was fishing in Ware on sunday, bl**dy cold, caught a nice chub though.

North Downs, Kent...woke up this morning anf the field out back was green, covered in weeds. Went to get cars Mot'd and came back before lunch to see half the field was brown...being ploughed.

 

Went fishing (must be mad ) and packed up before dark, came home and the bloomin' field is white!!

Couple more flurries in Tycroes this evening, nothing to shout about apart from the snow has frozen into a sheet of ice, tomorrow the roads will be bad.

My will power is even worse than Dave's. It was upper 60's (F) today. By Thursday supposed to be over 70F. We really haven't had much of a winter at all. That said, guess I better go buy a shovel.
