Glad you managed to sort the meeting with Lyn, as I know you really wanted that to work out.

Can't believe the whole trip has been and gone, like a whilrlwind.

Almost literally :D

Hi Newt & Jan

Glad to see you have arrived home. I was so glad we did meet up even if it was only for dinner. Next time you are over my life should be a lot less complicated so we will get you down South for a few days and get that barbel.

love to you 2 from us 2

Peggy and I thoroughly enjoyed your visit too, and also following your exploits and the those of rest of the gang on the Forum when you left us.

BTW, I hate to tell you but summer is about to arrive. 70F is forecast for tomorrow with bright sunshine and little or no wind! I think Leon's lost his title of Chief Jonah!

Glad to hear you both enjoyed the trip and have arrived home safely.

If it makes you feel any better, it's still raining here in Leeds. :(

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Guest Jan of the 2 Ghillies
er,

Hows the weather in the Carolinas now?

Good to have you over :)

Take a look at this link, my friendly ghillie: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...ast?query=28025

Mostly between 27-30c and chances of rain through the weekend and then again next week.

Would love the chance to fish with you again. Maybe next time we can sneak out of the country and leave the nasty weather behind us in the States. :P

We're looking forward to the opportunity to show you our pretty part of the US, Steve. The time with you and Peggy will carry many fond memories for years to come. Would love to catch more pike at Wingham and welcome the opportunity too do it with my own special ghillies - thanks Den and Leon.

My post on the OAP memory test thread - the message is more appropriate here.

........... even remembered to post on to Norrie the "tie clip" hooks you left on Norma's desk!

Hope you have now recovered from the jet lag. We enjoyed having you to stay enormously. Discussions on AN re your trip might well last until the next one :sun:

BTW did you burn a CD of your photos off my computer, and if so, can I now tidy up my picture gallery?
