Hardknott ghyl: Hardknott and Wryenose pass is the notorious roadway, steepest in Britain and it twists and winds its way up a fell, over the top, through a valley then twists and winds its way down wryenose to come out either by great langdale or into Ambleside. It sees the severest of weather and is generally closed in winter because of it, although the locals will still use it! Because of the high winds that whip over it and the severe weather its mostly bracken with the odd tree here and there. But I found this delightfull little Ghyl nestled in a cleft on the slopes of Hardknott

No.3's my favourite, looks like a beautiful location too.

Shame we haven't got any waterfalls here in jersey :-(

Everytime I look at someone elses photo's, I always think "Shame there is nothing like that round here for me to photograph" I wonder if we become too familiar with our own surroundings and therefore we want more.

Number 3 for me too, Steve. Excellent technique and a nice composition. :)

Trout and Sea Trout, I'm not too sure if Salmon get into this River or not, they do come into others in the area.

Absolutely bloody bewdifull mate. Number 4 is my favourite.

I hate getting up early, I didn't even realise there were two 6 o'clocks in one day!
