I kept getting strange "cannot connect you" type messages this morning and early afternoon.

 

Is this a personal slight on me, or did everyone suffer the same ? :(

MySQL overload caused the error. I reported it to Elton a few hours ago and I'm guessing that he fixed it.

I hate to upset Elton by saying this but I'm glad that it was a problem with AN itself.

I thought for a while that the administrators on my works nanny net had barred the site because I was accessing it to often.

 

Tis one of the few things that stops me clawing my own eyes out whilst I'm waiting for the gears on our 25 year old main IT system to crunch.

about 2 oclock all i got was a box with a message of "several" problems with the site and strange techie words
