......or the cost of the time spent monitoring this forum gleaning advice and recommendations and getting your fishing fix........and the cost of the therapy to wean you off it.........

Kayak fishing should be banned!

It is more expensive than you think it is going to be.....the Kayaking element is too much fun, the scenery is too much to take in, the folk you meet doing it are just intolerable, and all that exercise cannot be good for you.... but the worst thing is that I cannot spend as much time doing it (kayak fishing) as I would like.

Abandon the idea now my friend and save yourself a lot of grief and expense!

Spent a few pennies in the last few months;

kayak and all the bits and still going strong

Think I have all I need to go on with now but too scared to add everything up that i have spent. Except I need a VHF and some flares and a warm hat!

Just spent the last 3 hours filling my NEW kayak bag full of tackle and also making Kayak traces as my shore ones did not fit the purpose

Hopefully all I will need now are regular fishing partners and better weather B)

It has been a great past few months playing with Yak and talking to peeps on here and I just hope I can catch some fish over the winter

Cant wait for pike meet too!

Then there is the following:

1. Wetsuit and shoes

2. Bannanas to fit inside the wetsuit so you look like a stud not mister blobby

3. Then the winter sets in so buy a Drysuit, and so you want to look like mister blobby thermals

Thats the clothing. Now for the kit:

4. Cant use normal rods, have to buy new ones.

5. Same with reels, have to buy new ones

The List carries on......Give up now or

Then you lose it!!

Just carried out my final replacement following Tope trip flip.

More inshore flares £35.

Total cost of minor accident over £200.

Worth every penny.

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.
