It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

It would seem that Holly has been found. The bloke who took her was in the process of painting her yet again when he was caught. That is definitely going to be an interesting story when the full details come out.

Sorry, I didn't see that post. It's a pretty cr@p end to the tale. I thought he and his narrowboat had been abducted by aliens from Alpha Centauri. Edited by corydoras

By the look of some of the remarks on the canal forum, they want him to receive ice water baths twice a day till he's 'cured' then hung from the nearest tree! :schmoll:
