Mullet

Matt Baldwin

Recommended Posts

There was a young lad who caught a 11lb mullet from Essex marina at Wallasea Island a few years ago.

His farther would bring their boat from up river and tie up to the marina and they would fish for mullet.

His record claim was turned down due to the fish being caught from a private marina.

Sea Angler magazine to its credit felt sorry for the lad and awarded his achievement by giving him a holiday big game fishing. (He may of won the mission or something) I may have some of the facts wrong so I will try and find the sea angler magazine.

Please Please check this out!

Lovely fish mat what a lump it is!

Well done.

Only one thing will bugger up your record claim and thats if you weighed it on that boat instead of on dry land.

Good luck.

Hope it all works out for you.

As the boat was tied up in the marina, it won't be a problem.

Hope they find the scales 'under-read' ! Now if they over-read by say . . No forget it !!

The fish looks like a double, let us all know the result. Good luck.
