Mat that really is a hell of a fish, I have seen quite a few tens but all have been in gill nets. They look prehistoric when they get to that size, like a chuck back to the jarasic age. I hope you havent peeked to early mate!

I've just followed Eltons link from coarse fishing and, BLOODY HELL, what a fish!

Just seen it to thanks to Eltons link.Hope the claim goes ok but far more importantly WHAT A GREATFISH! No shadow of a doubt that is the most impressive capture Ive ever seen on AN.

dunno if i'm being niave here but im sure ive seen mullet MUCH larger than that swimming about...mind you havent seen one getting caught.

Mullet fishing has always appealed to me but I live near Birmingham so it's a bit hard :-)

work, football, driving etc you know the teenage life, always busy lol

 

i am holding the NMC fish-in on the medway in august, anyone who wishes to fish from here are more than welcolm if you want to try and catch your 1st mullet or just fish for bigger mullet that inhabite our waters.
