Hi all,

Can anyone suggest a good quality rechargable AA battery to use in a camera? (preferably at a decent price too)

my four year old rechargeables no longer seem to be holding a charge very well :(

Uniross Hybrio - they are absolutely magic. They arrive with you fully charged, they don't self discharge over time like most rechargeables do, they also seem to provide far more power (many more photos per charge).

Can't remember who I heard about them from, but it was on here :)

Try http://www.digi-quick.co.uk/

I got 2700mAh Ni-MH 1.2V AA batteries for £5.99 post free and a BN-VF707 for my camcorder for £13.99.They got the goods to me by return post as well.

I second that nick, they're the best I've ever used.

It was Leon who we should thank for recommending them.

I followed Leon's advice too and agree that Uniross Hybrio's are the best - and by a mile!

The great thing about them is that, unlike normal rechargeables, they hardly lose any power when not in use. In the past I was always having to replace the batteries before leaving home if I hadn't used the camera for a while.

The only reason I can see for not buying them is if you take masses of photos more or less every day. Then you may not get any benefit from their low discharge rate.

Not that they cost much more than standard batteries. I buy mine from Wilkinson's at £6.99 for 4, or £12.99 for 4 plus a charger.

Wiggly - how much are they from B&Q?
