only use i can think of is for those desperate moments when you are caught short and need to use mother natures outhouse lol at least it'll be harder for strollers on the tow path to spot you

it all depends on the water ,i can get within two feet of our carp because their used to passers bye and ignore them ,even in my fluorescent coat

one chap actually bought a flourescent coat because he noticed he got bites as i was chatting he swears by it ,whether its fluorescent yellow to fish is unknown,even the corms seem oblivious to it and i regularly make the ducks jump as i get so close to them just walking along the bank,for a fat git i have a light footfall

I was always gobsmacked at the success of camo Parker pens and camo Zippo lighters. The pens were camo until you took the lid off to use them and showed a nice silver barrel and the lighters didn't have a camo flame. I am sure that the success of both of these designs was down to the same people buying them to replace the ones that they had lost.

 

If in fishing camo was so important then wouldn't the tips of floats be camo instead of bright red or bright yellow?
