When you read the title, yup shoot first.

 

but when you get down further, it turns out to be an air rifle or pistol and it wasn't in his hands when he was shot five times. I had the understanding that police authorisation to fire is when there is an immediate threat to life.

 

Are these guys highly trained or gun happy

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I think it is the sign of the times we are now living in. The security services are on high alert maybe even higher than when the IRA were lurking around years ago.

What annoys me is armed stand offs that block roads for miles about ,one was for 11 hours as some chap was alone in his house with a knife !!!!

I remember not so long ago a blind bloke was tasered by police here in Hull after they mistook his white stick for a sword.

 

Methinks he's not the only one who should be certified as blind....

Made me think. I am deaf and getting deafer. If some trigger-happy moron shouted "stop, put your hands up" I probably wouldn't hear him, so would probably get tasered. Hmmmm. 82, and with angina, so that might be curtains.

I can usualy sense it with my olfactory organs long before it come into visual or auditory range.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
