Now did you enjoy the pantomime last night it was brilliant , two colleges who were on Johnson cabinet who voted in tax rises and now by  love of god suddenly  say it was a bad idea How stupid they looked tearing apart each other’s policy . Tells you one thing don’t vote conservative as both  said the  others  policy will wreck the economy ,not that 12 years of tory poor growth  average 1.5% hasn’t already done exactly that .

And Lis Truss looks as bright as a 3w light bulb !!!!

Ok these sort of debates are never great viewing, but at least there is passion in the arguments, and very sincere.  My heart says Liz but head ....My concerns is that she might not have the wit and guile at the despatch box to cope, but given the Labour leader's  ineptness at the House either should be fine.

I hope Liz Truss gets it as she will without doubt put the Conservatives out of power for decades . That is a racing certainty . I did put a tenner  on Richie at 5/2 because he has more brains in his big toe than truss . But it’s looks like I am going to lose my tenner but it’s worth every penny as the party members think truss is a winner , but 30% of the party members actually still think Johnson should be in the mix .Where exactly have they been when the results of the last few by-ejections were announced . Shows just how much how of touch these people are and how the public actually feel .

This is funny  and it’s now  2022 ???? They will be lining up to take a pot shot .

People using the roadways to travel to their holiday destination on Saturday will have to take into account several traffic jams on a number of roads abroad. There was an hour-long traffic jam towards the Karawanken Tunnel on the route to Slovenia. In southern Germany, there was also an hour delay on the A8 towards Salzburg due to 10 kilometers of traffic jams.

The ANWB said it expected it to be very busy on the roads in France on Saturday, particularly to the south of the country. Peak congestion was expected between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m

More bad news for all of us lied to, hoodwinked etc etc etc.

It seems some were very correct in their predictions concerning medicines after Brexit, and in truth they did their best to warn us.

There is the predicted shortage of insulin, unfortunately it’s in America due to “Worldwide Supply problems.” I can translate that into ‘dipshit’ for you, Brexit.

There’s a shortage of baby formula also in America ongoing for several months now due to “Worldwide Supply problems.” And again I can easily translate that into ‘dipshit’ for you,  Brexit.

And now it seems that some other predictions are coming true, there is an acute shortage of Cancer Meds. in Germany, I’m guessing that’s caused by Brexit as well!

Johnson's 2019 tax promise was: "We will not raise the rate of income tax, VAT or National Insurance."

National insurance has risen for some. From April 2022, anyone earning less than around £42,000 will be paying less than the previous year, while anyone earning more than that will be facing an increase in tax. From July 2022, the National Insurance contributions threshold also rises by £2,690 from the current £9,880 and brings it in line with the income tax personal allowance.

Some businesses saw a decrease in VAT during the pandemic, but it returned to 20% in April.

The Treasury announced a freeze in the tax thresholds in the March 2021 budget, and they are frozen until 2026. The only reason why more people are paying high rates of income tax is because their earnings have risen above thresholds.

Johnson has in fact lowered the tax burden on low earners, and in typical Blairite, socialist-lite style, he has decided to "tax the rich" with his National Insurance changes.

So once again, it seems that Boris has done what YOU wanted.
