  1. Dont think we have that installed, use avast as our antivirus
  2. Just crashed when opening "Fun on the Pole" thread 17.40 pm I have got no idea how to get the same info as philocalist provided. Gary
  3. I have the adverts down the left hand side. As far as I know we haven't changed any settings or done any updates that would effect the performance of the PC.
  4. I haven't got any suggestions but can say that the same thing has started happening to me for about the lats 2/3 weeks.
  5. I agree to the above post. Dale (9yrs) still not confident in holding & unhooking a fish, and can't get the hang of putting a maggot on a hook as it "keeps wriggling". (13 year old nephew wont even touch a maggot and will only fish with sweetcorn) Dale started with a weekender whip, which then got elasticated, and has now got a 9' ledger rod with screw in quiver tip. I taught him the basic rod/reel casting methods in our back garden with a small weight to start with. We also started fishing on the middle level last year but he still wants to go back to the commercial again this year as did not catch enough fish on the river! One thing I did stick to was a maximum session of 2 hours. Gave him the time we were to pack up at and stuck to it. He didn't get too bored on the quiet seesions and gave himself targets on the busy days. I have also made him a spreadsheet on the PC which he fills in after every session, where, when, numbers of each species caught, approx max sizes, who he went with etc. Gary
  6. Shame its not happening in the FA cup then, 2-1 down to coventry at half time!
  7. So you have used your transfer window wild card before the window closes. Could take a few weeks or -4 pts to get back to a decent team Saving mine for week 27 as loads of games that week and Asia cup players back.
  8. Dont speak to soon The higher you stand the harder you fall!!!!!
  9. I wonder what Jeremy "I HATE Norfolk" Clarkson and co have to say about it, as I am sure it will be on Top Gear at some stage.
  10. Thanks Corydoras for putting them on here. I must admit I hadn't seen Jingle Bombs but is just as good.
  11. Good, but my fav at the moment is ahmed the dead terrorist, but don't know how to link youtube very well "Silence, I kill you"
  12. Of all the times I have walked around that lake I have yet to see any signs of fish life. Probably of East European descent I am guessing.
  13. In the hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where a family member lay gravely ill. Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber. 'I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news,' he said as he surveyed the worried faces. 'The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant. It's an experimental procedure, very risky, but it is the only hope. Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the BRAIN.' The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a time, someone asked, 'How much will a brain cost?' The doctor quickly responded, '£5,000 for a male brain; £200 for a female brain.' The moment turned awkward. Some of the men actually had to 'try' to not smile, avoiding eye contact with the women. A man unable to control his curiosity, finally blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask, 'Why is the male brain so much more than a female brain?' The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, 'It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the female brains a lot lower because they've been used.'
  14. Or there is new, which is the rod Santa bought for Dale last year http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SHAKESPEARE-OMNI-9-5...=item3cb141380b
  15. Why can I already sense that the "commercial lakes" are going to be busy 29th April 2011?
  16. If I have many more poor weeks like this one then you will soon overtake me
  17. Perhaps your neighbour should get one of these that has turned up on Thursday. Already "removed" a dumb wood pidgeon from the area and spent the last two days eating it on next doors back lawn.
  18. Now every time you go to screwfix (or place an order) add a single box of the screws you have used most from the mixed packet or a size you haven't got, that way you will all ways have the size you need. I religiously do this at screwfix and the tackle shop with shot etc when buying maggots. Spreads the cost out this way.
  19. Quite enjoy it myself, but it is a shame his language is too strong to let Dale watch it. I suppose it is "Extreme" in more than one sense. It is on in the background whilst i'm on the pc and on initial thoughts, 1/4 through and no extreme words, perhaps he has had to tone the language to try for better ratings, will carry on listening and judge later.
  20. There used to be a similar one from New York to London where the instruction was to swim the Atlantic!
  21. Next week at Kings Lynn there is, Monster trucks, F1 stocks with the "stars" from Gears and Tears and Robin Reliants again. Seriously thinking of taking Dale if it is not too cold.
  22. I subscribe to Improve your Coarse Fishing as I use Tesco's clubcard voucher deal which brings it to 1/4 the price (£11 of vouchers). Unfortunately you dont get the subscriber offer doing it this way and it is the only coarse fishing mag available (For info there's Trout & Salmon and Sea fishing) Seems to be a reasonably good all round mag however now into second year and seems to be repeating itself. Have seen threads on here giving previews if interested.
  23. Thanks for that John, pleased it was not a wasted journey for you. Not sure whether to take Dale there again this weekend or try the KLAA pit at Tottenhill (more shelter there). Haven't seen a baliff in all the times we've been on the water, is not a problem as have membership.
  24. How did it go John? Are we going to flooded with AN readers making their way up here this weekend?
  25. OMG! HSE wouldn't allow that in the UK I bet
