Jim - Thanks and some great pictures. I can remember fishing there one evening when it was just like picture 2, not something i'd reccomend.

    lost tackle

Jim - great tip, thanks. I've fished Portland on a few occasions and lost loads of tackle. Just out of interest, did the 41lb conger come from near Pulpit Rock and is there any other good spots to fish on Portland apart from Portland Bill?
  5. I seen the same review on the Targa as Ian. Badger stuff dosn't get me overly excited, but the review did give it a thumbs-up.
  6. So is the last one the Booby man Dave.
  7. Hello to the newbies, welcome one and all. If you have any questions just ask..............don't ask me though, I don't have a clue about anything.
  8. It's my bit on the side, how did you get a photo of her. Charlotte Church???
  9. Thanks Chris, that must have been the one.
  10. Does anyone know of an on-line auction site that auctions unclaimed lost property and seized goods from the police. Someone mentioned it to me a while back, but I can't seem to find it, even after many hours searching with Google. Think it was called something similar to bravo, echo, foxtrot???
  11. Well don't know if this helps. I'd love an on-line discount p.v.a surplier that was reliable. A good army surplus on-line shop would also be handy. Some great stuff the angler could use.
  12. Well angina(sp) runs in my fathers side of the family and taken many relatives, and an hereditery heart defect runs in the males of my mothers side. Grandad was as fit as a fiddle and died of a heart attack on the golf course at the age of 52, uncle had a triple bypass at the age of 39 and another uncle died of a heart attack last year at the age of 46. So it seems i'm pretty much DOOMED. I smoke like a Sadam palace and as fit as a cello. But i'm blessed, I have a wonderful partner and two fantastic children whom I love dearly. A little rule that I try to follow is "work to live, not live to work".

Looks good, although havn't got a clue what it's all about.
  14. Good luck Eileen, you'll love it! I've been on it a few times and WHAT A RUSH! Don't forget to look at the photos that are automatically taken while on the ride, very funny. A group of friends and I went on a couple of years ago. One of the girls was VERY large in the chest area (if you know what I mean ), the photo we saw showed her left breast almost over her shoulder, classic moment.
