  1. You need to turn of system restore, goto add/remove the programme if it lists it. Then search useing the find files and folders and delete any referance to it there and then to make sure you are clear run http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/ That should tell you its gone, if that dont work post back
  2. i got a shakespeare zenith rod 2/12lb Tc cant fault it at £50 it will out sign many costing 3 times as much. Its not the rolls royce of rods but it does the job and does it well. Do you want a rod that has nothing flash but you can relie on then i dont think you could go wrong. If you want a rod to be in with crowd then you need to be looking at something With a name on it. Cant say it fairer than that. Haveing owned many and still use them i cant find a fault in the shakespeare rods these day, they use to be poor but many people who knock them havent used one in say the last 10 years
  3. Any chance of a gmail invite?
  4. Theres a new form of spyware floating about at the moment, it hides it self in a file abit like a trojan, It adds an extra address bar in your IE and highlights words like virus, spam etc etc Its from begin2search. To remove this is not easy you can either search your registry and delete the entrys it makes, there is no listing in the Add/Remove As far as i know it dont effect mozilla or netscape browsers. The easiest way to remove it is goto begin2search.com and click on uninstall browser bay, download the tiny removal file and away it goes. Just in case anyone has got this little blighter

Well there you go Carpy, you have just paid a man for a honest few months of work, and its worth every penny of £20,
  6. i look for a tackle shop that, Offers honest advice, Takes on board your comments, has a wide range of stuff, not just Carp and the major brands, do all their repairs in store where public can see and can cater for my sea and coarse needs. As it happens i got one just like down the road from me owned by peter owen another a few miles owned by steve Allmark (both England international sea fishermen)
  7. I too have pulled to many a boat from the sandbanks on Breydon, reedham and st olvaes (sp) is another to see capt hapless make big mistake due to inexperiance and may be just pure stupidity.
  8. you should have a read about near where i live www.sheppyscum.com I said NEAR where i live
  9. you see that far to often on the broads, esp with the hire craft they get their hours tutiton then thats it their off, racing down the river then they realise they dont have brakes or they dont take in to consideration of the wind and tides etc, or worse still they dont even follow basic navigation ie give way to sailing boats, keep within the channel markers or keep on the right side of the river. My perants live near acle and the amount of things we have seen on the river there or at potter heigham or better still braydon waters

You can get er sky cards on the cheap, You have to buy a special card that has a com port on the end this is conected to your pc once a month and you download codes on to it to unscramble the channels, Any good satilite store will sell you the card in question but wont tell you where to get the codes from to unscramble the channels, Oh by the way its not illegal to own the card but it is to USE IT
  12. yep i use screw fix direct, theres a banner for them on this site somewhere im sure elton has a link for it. They deliver next day and only for uk but cheap honest and reliable
  13. their is no true answer, Climbs 5 meters a day slids back one meter, so is that for meter it slides 20 cms? If that the case then it would take longer than 7 days 12 h ours more like 7 days 16 hours. It could be done within 7.5days if it climmbs the full 5 meters before sliding back the meter
  14. i dont get to see my dad but that was my decision, i have 2 girls now myself and the thought of not seeing them terrifies me, im still with their mother (for my sins) tried to sell mum on ebay not 1 bleeding bid so still open to offers, I agree there is some cases where the child should have no contact with the other parent, but its not only dads who do wrong. The fathers for justice are campaigning for equal rights to paternity, custody and access, the law as for to long been weighted towards the mother, it is time for a change but theres a very fine line. I can see their reasons and motivation behind their protest but i think their actions are taking away the response to their cause if you understand what i mean, for instance Lob a bag of pink powder at mr Blair, scale the palace, great amount of publicity, shows determination and guts, im b@@@erd if ill climb up the palace knowing theirs army and armed police waiting for me at the bottom. All the publicity from these stunts is not showing their cause its showing how lapse our security is for national landmarks or People of international intrest.

lol copy it, its only £20 or less from ebay etc, etc you want it you buy it.
  16. id go the way with 2 network cards and a crossover cable, its very easy, put a network card in each pc. Plug your network cable in (you will need a twisted cat5e cable) and use xp's network wizard, its that easy. As for the xp copy. If you was given a regkey with it you should have no problems, however do not put SP1 or 2 on it as this will knock it all off for you meaning a reinstall.
  17. Caddis i once had a grays rod that had to be sent back due to a breakage, they also said around 6 weeks for the replacement. But as i pointed out to them i need a replacement rod not section as the other sections will be differant from the replaced section due to sun bleaching etc etc, they took my comments on board i sent back the whole rod and got a nice new one free, i also got loads of free stuff after i complained it took so long. Id give them a call if i was you to jog their memorys. BTW abu have the best service department IMHO, sent a reel back due to a spindle breaking got a whole new reel in 2 weeks, cant complain at that
  18. Squirell, bait pumps work on a suction method, they are still tiring and can sometime be worse than using a spade or fork, You need the right sort of sand for them to operate properly, the best type is the sand thats like clay where you walk on it and it sinks around your feed, if the sand is to dry or compact then it wont work nearly as well. You are best of being near the water line as these pumps need rinsing out often to clear the grit and blockages inside the tube. Be carefull not to pull the handle up to quickly or you turn the worms inside out rendering them useless. Another thing to be carefull of is the handle shooting back down, once had 4 broken fingers from that. I got one of the avley(sp) pumps it cost around £50, its not the best but works well down at dungeness
  19. I think i must have one of the greatest steam things on my doorstep, the RHDR the worlds smallest public railway, only covers 20 odd miles but run a better time table than BR and yes most of the engines are 1/12th scale and steam
  20. i have had dealings with one of these no win no fees schemes, be carefull, most will ask you to take out a loan for around 1000 which you pay back out of your winnings (plus intrest of course) then they company will take a set amount, You get whats left, then they go back to court to get your expenses back, its a long winded drawn out process, i belive theres a solictor on here they specialises in employment law?
  21. forget the reasons motives etc behind this type of thing, those kids didnt do anything to offend those evil terrorists who went in held a school hostage knowing that its their first day back, then slaughtered and maimed so many. for those who have survived, the cuts and bruises will heal but what about their minds, they are scared for life in more ways than one, many of those poor children wont go back to school now. My thoughts reside with those who have been effected by this outrage, by those effected i include the forces that went in to try and save so many, the medics who were and still are doing a great job and of course the families and children. I dont care what religion or colour, creed, anything like that, the whole situation with Russia needs to be sorted before another innocent slaughter happens again. [ 04. ive spoken to the creator, fishsim 3 is something hes considering but no firm plans are made yet all his time and effort are going in to the zettek game
  23. if you going to go and buy fakes why pay for them theres many other ways of getting some dodgey copy of a dvd of the net. You will still be guilty of a copyright law, still open to proscution, But you wont be paying the middle guy, I tend to use ebay and play alot but also amazon as you can get some right bargains on there. And woolworths when they got their sales on. If you going into the costs of things dont justify what you are getting take a look at ps2 games some are £40. they charge that much because people will PAY that much. Like chesters said if no one brought the things in the first place the price would fall to a more reasonable price
  24. can you start in safe mode if so try that way if not then you got abit of a challange, what flavour of windows is you have got?
  25. i see what you are saying newt, but 6 months ago i had my final up date for windows 98, not bad only 6 years after its first release. Alot of things with windows is security flaws not so much about compatibility issues as you was discribing in your text there. If it was compatablity issues why dosent linux have so many?
