peter ive been looking at the pike anglers club page again, very usefull information thanks....
  19. i was telling koi carp about vitalin the other day im glad youve picked up on it.its such a versatile feed its ideal in any situation,as youve heard stick some in a blender and then throw in a couple of un~blended handfulls so youve got diffrent sized pieces, add what flavour you like and anything else,i.e hemp corn...its excellent stuff...
  20. not at all trevor...i would suggest finding out as much as you can about the water firt.what species are in there and to what size.secondly what you want to target.you can then start to sort your tactics out.

belive me the pikes welfare will be of paramount importance to me.i think its best if i go a few times with my friend, ive been fishing for 15 years and had carp & cats to over 30lb,,but as you say they are not pike.what i might do aswell is have a look round a few local waters, just watch a few people for a little while..gather as much info as i can.

i may sound silly please forgive me,but would a large pike go for a small lure.ive always seen on t.v that the big fish go for live or dead baits or very large lures
