police brutality

You could be quite right that in this case behind the scenes variables could be significant. However we see enough of this type of thing, and no doubt many of us have first hand experiences to tell to keep us wary of letting the police get beyond themselves.

And i agree with what you have just posted. i have a couple of tales regarding the police, however i'll keep them for another day.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

The police are human beings, too, and deserve the same rights as any other citizen.

They are and they do. However they also have a responsibility to the rest of us and to behave properly while carrying out their duties. Even as a teenager I (and hundreds of others) was expected to, and did exercise more self discipline than we are seeing in these incidents, and the rioters/demonstrators did an awfully lot more to provoke us.

Likewise...

I wouldn't trust the police to use a tv remote, let alone a firearm. I've felt this way since my own experiences and the shooting of Jean Charles De Menezes and the attempts of the police to obfuscate the issue.

As soon as the Chief Constable is allowed to prioritise, you have an immediate issue with what constitutes a 'waste of police resource' and a concentration on the 'east collar'. A prime example is the Chief Constable of North Wales, Richard Brunstrom who has a zero tolerance for motoring offences but advocates the decriminalisation of drugs. Motoring offences, in Brunstrom'scase, predominantly speeding and a perverted love affair with speed cameras, means a low resource opportunity to get charge rates up whilst doing little to apply resource to other crimes - least of all drug offences it would seem.

Still, there is hope..he has applied for the post of commissioner for the Cayman Islands. Good riddance.

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

i personally am in favour of police being armed, it is normal in most places, including here.

I am not in favour of the british police being armed though. No way.

Although they sometimes do a genarally good job, with little thanks from the public, its obvious that their firearm training is woefully below the standard required of other countries.

(quote the comments regarding tube kiling etc)

maybe not the resources for good training? who knows?

From what was shown and written, it looks like she asked for a slap and got it.

What a load of tosh! The police are PAID to do a job and do it professionally.

Proportionate force DOES NOT include giving a woman a back hand across the face with a gloved hand, and if you think it does then maybe try it with your wife/girlfriend in front of a police officer and see what happens. As for the baton attack.......it was just that, an attack and couldn't even remotely be called proportionate.

Frankly elton i'm shocked at you for even remotely trying to justify this kind of thuggery.

The latest news is that Ian Tomlinson did NOT die of a heart attack, but a ruptured stomach and the officer involved has been interviewed under caution of manslaughter!!

ofcourse if the chap died in a different manner to the first autopsy it brings doubt to the credentials of the original examiner ,as usual though the "professional"/"expert" or "scientist"'s findings are rarely are more than opinions but boy some pretty big mistakes are made on the back of them

will the original examiner be sacked ?probably not! if the new ones wrong will he be sacked ? probably not ,like most "facts" you will get many versions of them 99.9 will be wrong but lives are wrecked because the "facts" backing who uses them are the ones used

if these "facts" say the police killed this chap you can bet the police will find an "expert" who's opinion says they didnt.

or will brown do an obama and just put the police above the law like the US forces are?

This is what they say in the news: ""A subsequent post-mortem examination was conducted by another consultant forensic pathologist, Dr Nat Cary, instructed by the IPCC and by solicitors acting for the family of the late Mr Tomlinson.

"Dr Cary's opinion is that the cause of death was abdominal haemorrhage. The cause of the haemorrhage remains to be ascertained.

"Dr Cary accepts that there is evidence of coronary atherosclerosis but states that in his opinion its nature and extent is unlikely to have contributed to the cause of death."

Draw your own conclusions!!
