Guest NickInTheNorth

sounds like where I live, 8 miles south of Fort William, but on the other side of Loch Linnhe, either a 5 minute ferry trip, or a 30 mile drive from "civilisation".

No yobs, beautiful scenery, lovely people, no jobs, and very few opportunities to buy houses.

Would not swap it for anything.

I live less than 5 minutes from Tower Bridge in London. Hate it! Full of yobs, rubbish and generally unfriendly people  . In 16 months I can sell my flat (right to buy restrictions elapse) and I'm upping sticks and pulling out :) ! Can't wait to move to somewhere green and friendly. Thinking of Norfolk or Suffolk - loved holidaying there. :D:D:D

....Here's to swimming with bow-legged women....

your welcome to tilford ,it thinks its 1946 and we had someone drop a crisp bag last week

my first job was 5 mins from london bridge (the old one ) 5,6,7 ireland yard (err i think) called Shuck Mcleans (that NOT what we said on the phone) behind the Times (we DID say that) :D

not sure about the people though us council house dwellers count less than the dog ***** their dogs drop at our gate ,theres 3 council houses so its a cul desac not an estate

No complaints from me in the Highlands of Scotland :D

Fabulous scenery, no yobs, no crime to speak of, I often go out and leave the door open and very seldom remember to take the keys out of the car.

Fishing in every direction and most of my mates are keepers and ghillies so I get to shoot and fish for free :):)

BTW I am originally from Essex, and I wouldn't move back down there for a bet :):)

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.
