Steve,

Is pike fishing allowed?

If not, do you think your perch will be interested in half a mackerel mounted on two size 6 trebles? :P

No pike fishing I'm afraid. In fact no lures or fish, whether live or dead, as baits.

2 more names to add to those who're coming: Malc Bason (mpbdsnu) and Rosie (Piscary).

Elton, I haven't got Terry's number - could you do me a favour and bell him to see if he's still coming~? Cheers.

A quick hijack here (sorry Steve)

Lyn - how is Liam getting on with that gear? Any fish yet?

Hi Newt, (Been meaning to mail you :o )He handles it like a 'pro' casting a good 7mtrs+ He caught his first perch on 01 April.

I am hoping to finish the film off this weekend so I can get the pics to you

Will that be earlier enough to prove a point lol

Wonderful to hear he has taken fish.

Love to see the pics.

Steve - while the adults may not be allowed lures, you really gotta take Liam out after perch while they are there. Surely no one could be grinchy enough to object to a youngster having a treat like that. :)

Every time I check this post it seems more and more tempting, I even got the map out hoping it was this side of Kent, but Canterbury, too far.    :(

Have fun.

Once you get on the motorways the miles will fly by. You will miss a great weekend and a great venue. Go on, go for it!
