Well whats the weather like around the country then ? Here on the NE coast (Whitley Bay) had a "white out" for the last 3/4 hours :huh: Just got about 7/8 " but no buses/cars/gritters moving. Just a bit further north heard that they had 15" of snow and that was before it became nasty. Pleased I am retired so just cabined up in a nice warm house with plenty of beer in the fridge !!! :rolleyes:

 

What you got in your part of the UK ? Photos would be nice. Will wedge one on tomorrow.

Had a very light dusting of snow last night but it's mostly melted through the day here in Kidderminster.

It's cold now though. Temps on the car thermometer comming back from seeing the new Harry Potter movie hit -8 but the current Wnderground reading is -6.3 at the local weather station.

Looks like it'll be cold for a while and daytime temps for Thursday are currently predicted to max at -1 !!!!!

I can't remember the last time it's been this cold so early in the winter..

Had a walk along the seafront at sunrise this morning and took a few photos. The main roads had not been gritted at all and only a couple of motorists were chancing their luck. My car is in the garage and there is no way I could get it out and down the lane at the moment.

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

glasgow isnt that bad yet its about 5-6cm

 

had to get the subway to work today cause the car just wouldnt get up the hills, you would start to get a good run then the lights turn to red and its all over.
