Dapper i helped a mate move some bee hives once...amazed how heavy they were ............

Viney we will most likely be at Aldermaston hunting Chub if you want to join us ,He says assuming the Rustmiester will come out to play .

Yup I'm in. You bring the smelly paste and I'll bring the mobile staff restaurant, so that'll be 30 sausages for you, me, matt and robbie. We'll chip in for the bait ingredients. I was thinking pre-baiting a few swims and then rotating them with a quivertip, with three of us we should be able to cover quite a bit of water.

9'ish do you think? Let's see if we can tempt something.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Cool i may go a bit earlier than that as viney can only fish the morning but the paste i have made is almost on the biological/chemical hazard level so we should get something even if it`s only desperate to get out of the water  ,looking forward to it see you there .

Ill knock up some 'ethnic food aisle' paste too mmm garlic chili crab paste and blue goats cheese! i have a key (i take it its the same as the one for colthrop?) is it 'pins only even on the 'tip rods rusty? ;)

Yes its the same key its best approached from going down frouds lane [just past woolhampton on the A4 turn right ] follow till the end turn left again and if you go past the Butt inn you have gone to far its on your right just before the pub .

Rusty will compromise his principles and use a tip rod methinks but don`t tell anyone :D:lol: .

He does cook a mean sausage though and is an all round good chap ,See you there just follow the track to the river .

Best bet is to walk the section feeding a few bits of paste into each Chuby looking hole then come back and fish them Steve.

Taking the week end off this week, going to do some gardening. I have a tropical themed garden and the bannana's, canna's and calla's have taken a battering this week. So it's time to do some mulching and pack the tree ferns with straw and fleece and put the garden to bed until spring.

Stephen

Apart from Vagabond (swine!) I think many of us will have the added problem of snow melt to deal with at the weekend. Snow and ice is OK, it's when it starts to melt things get really tough...

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
