For the sort of money that's likely to go for I think I'd rather have a Chris Lythe reel built exactly how I want it . . . . .

I know Alan likes his revolver but they just don't deserve that kind of money imo. If you look at them they're just a purist with the back of the spool cut out and spokes inserted. There's nothing like the work go into making them as there is the Lythes or many other reels for that matter. They're not even rare, there where over 200 made ......and the colour is a bit iffy LOL.

i love them myself and if i had the budget too match would be prepaired to pay a high price too own one (i was lucky with mine though ) .but now i do have one i would be a bit more carefull what i payed for a spare / second one (around £200 - £250 max) .they're worth it .
