ponds been frozen since 27th of november and little to show it will thaw soon

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

Unilaterally declare themselves to be our "governing body". Declare that angling needs to speak with one voice (their voice) when we don't actually all agree on what must be said, and complain when as a result we don't sign up in droves to lend our weight of numbers to their agenda. Attempt to make membership compulsory by asking for a levy on the rod licence. Absorb a valuable, successful and well loved angling institution (the ACA, now "Fish Legal") making it impossible to support that without also supporting them.

 

They want to rule over us, to speak to government on our behalf and claim for themselves the influence that our numbers deserve.

Someone on the FM thread made a good point - I do want someone out there protecting my interests, but I want them to be good enough to do it. This current lot aren't good enough.

 

But most of all, PLEASE give us back the ACA, and they can start taking my money again.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

Err......no!

 

I think that their claim to speak as one voice for all anglers whilst failing to agree amongst themselves on basic issues shows just what a useless shower they are.

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
