Thanks for that, much the same as joe public living beyond his means. So there is value in splitting up the high street bank from the speculators, again to prevent joe public being burned a second time around. Might cost joe public more money on day to day bank dealings etc, but with less risk. So those speculators can fail as opposed to all feeling the pressure.

 

Turning high street banks into mutual trusts will do away with most high banking charges. It is the profit and share price fuelled models that wring the average joe for every penny he has.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Not true, some of my own family are English, however racist right wing bigotry is not liked, no matter what nationality. If similar comments as made in Colin W's post had been made of either coloured or religous ethnicities rather than the Irish the post would have been pulled and action taken. It is about time racism was seen for what it is, not just if read by a more vocal group. If I turned round and said some group of people should work for peanuts I would expect to be called up on it. Why should the fact that the Bigot was English be seen as anti English? I would however expect fair minded Englishmen to be a little less nationalist in the face of such racism.

Racism, been the brunt all my life. Father born to a good God fearing Irish woman from County Cork. And a mother who father was of Italian stock.

 

Sticks and stones to me, water off a ducks back.

Strange when i'm away and get my " natural colour " darkened how many people mistake me for a local, beit Spanish, Greece or Italy.

 

I love the reaction of people who realise they have been calling an " Englishman " in his own tongue. LMAO

If thats the law of the land then who am i to voice an opinion against it.

 

All i can say is this. I have never claimed a penny off this country in 37 years. I have been diagnosed wth a degenerative condition, and gave up work, i was given 6 months help. After that i was told that i should claim JAS, which i did, with reservations. I was told this

 

Sorry sir you cannot claim because of your degeneratve conditions, you are unfit for work. !

 

And then i find out a non British person can come into the country and claim benefits that i am not entitled tp claim, after paying into the system for 37 years.

 

Can you understand how that makes me feel ?

 

Exactly the same as when I tried to claim as a self-employed person paying contributions and unable to claim illness benefits, nor serious illness insurance payouts as my illness was not covered in the small print on the policy. And being told the payment protection insurance on my credit card debts wouldn't pay because I did not have a weekly pay-slip.

Often the system is unfair, but at the same time you can't throw out the baby with the bathwater.

PPI can you not claim for it, there's shed load of adverts offering help to get thousands back for people
