Winter Tyres

Lapland = Finland. Winter tyres or snow chains mandatory between 1st December and last day in February.

 

As I said, they were winter tyres. I expected them to resemble some of the spiked rally ones I've seen, but they looked fairly 'normal'.

You also need to tell your insurer as they count as a modification to your car.

I have much smug - I picked up a set of lightly used winters on steel wheels for the Saab last month. They are sat waiting for the winter in my shed .

You're right! It is a strange subject with the temps up around 100F (37 - 38C).

 

A question about the product (should you know). The product is a textile - not metal? Anyone ever use them? I don't know what a textile looks like or acts like with "deformability". Odd word for an advertisement - deformability.

 

Price is right even if they only hold up for one installation. I always worry about products that are "to good to be true".
