the modern druid idiots are pretty pathetic ,theres little written about them ,a few mentions by romans as they encountered them and 150 years later no doubt long after they had disappeared ,anything not in writing at the time is irrelevant so the later texts just hypothetical nonsense and myth

 

certainly powerful ,they wandered freely without hindrance from tribes and paid no taxes (the power thing again)

 

no link between any henge nor reference to any place of worship at all other than natural places
