Im NOT looking for an arguement of trying to be contraversial BUT with this planet in the state its in and economys in total meltdown PERSONALLY I think its a toal waste of several million dollars. Im sure that money could have been better spent on good old planet Earth. Why do we need to know if Mars could have sustained life many years ago?

Just going now to batten down the hatches and wait for the shoputing to begin :D :D :D

Just one big fish, PLEASE!!!!!!

"Be happy with the knowledge we have". "Don't push back the boundaries". "Don't explore new horizons and seek greater truths". "Don't challenge what we currently accept".

These were the mantras of the dark ages where plagues took their toll, infant mortality was horrific and life expectancy was around 35 years.

Yes, there is much to do at home but our ultimate future lies among the stars just as the ultimate future for many of those in the dark ages was ultimately going to be several centuries of exploration and discovery followed by a migration to the new world.

We'll need a new home soon, judging by the way we're treating this one

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
