Richard III reburial plans breach human rights, say descendants. Descendants of Richard III, whose body was exhumed from a Leicester car park last year, have claimed their human rights have been breached because they were not consulted about where the monarch will be reburied. REPORT HERE

I wonder if Cheri Blair jumps on the bandwagon. :icecream:

Hmmm - the locations specified in the original license which was granted by the UK government.

That would mean the UK government is guilty of a human rights violation which evidently makes you unfit to house that radical cleric.

If the government's license is overturned on that basis, you should at least be able to ship that cleric to France.

Wasn't it nice of Tony Blair to start pushing human rights in Parliament just as Cherie was forming Matrix, a group of lawyers specialising in human rights issues....

What the f**k are "Human rights" anyway?

I'm constantly pi55ed off by criminals and ar5eholes getting away with things by claiming "Human rights"...most of the idiots that claim it don't even look Human let alone have the right to claim it due to the crimes they've been accused of.

In my view "Human rights" are those that go with common-sense, decency and the ability to get along with your fellow man. If you can't follow those basic tenets then surely you can't expect to be treated by the decent common-sense laws that are produced by Humans....or did I miss something somewhere?

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

The claim is being made under Article 8 – Right to respect for private and family life.

I would have thought from reading your AN Profile that the provisions of this article would be of particular importance to you Andrew?

Neither you nor I know if Cheri Blair would be invoved or not. Why finish an otherwise good post with a non-sequitor?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Perhaps you could have a scan over the European Convention on Human Rights and post up here which ones should not apply to you John, which would you deny yourself and why?
