Because he would then have been previously tried for the offence, and wouldn't face a second prosecution for the same alleged crime?

We can prosecute you more than once as the rules changed some time ago (cannot remember the word we used to use) anyway if your not found guilty we now have the jewish system of doing it until you are

Another staple of the free world Habeas corpus also seems to have evapourated lately ,dont you just love that old terrorist threat excuse to remove freedom ,we start wars pointing fingers at regimes locking up folks for years with no trials ,using torture to get evidence ,generally abusing prisoners and throwing in a bit of genocide then do the exact same thing ourselves ,no wonder the fuzzy wuzzies get annoyed

It has nothing to do with the EU.

Simple really, some of the evidence used against him was obtained by torture.

Are you ok with torture used to gain evidence? Or or you happier with the more "traditional" Western values of a fair trial?

Which is it? One or the other.

He was found guilty of terror offences in his own country that has not signed up the the ECHR...what would you rather have, terroristss wandering around free or locked up in jail?

Where's the proof of torture anyway...it seems to be coming from a convicted terrorist and his mates. Now who would you believe, a convicted terrorist or a judge?

I'm sceptical of the idea that him serving a few years of easy time in a UK prison would lead the Jordanians to drop their desire to give him hard labour for the rest of his life.

Ive never been into a British prison, but the people i speak to who have, dispute the idea, (put forward by the media primarily) that they are "The easy life".

If he has committed offences in the UK, (and from what i can see he has)...Then prosecute him...I really cant see why they dont.

Allegedly because it would embarrass the security services who gave him a 'clean' bill of health (politically) when he originally came here!

just goes to show how weak and lax, ineffective our borders are, let any convicted scum in and give them more than the protection offered to the uk guys who have paid their taxes all their life. it stinks and continues.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Worms,

I may be coming around to your way of thinking.

The American Declaration of Independence built the case (including a "conviction") that because of King George III’s abuse of power there was no reasonable alternative to revolution. American's were dying because of his “abominable crimes”.

You would, by your argument since the King was found "guilty" in an American court, sent him to us - no questions ask. (?).
