How is the Weather down your way?

Just watched BBC weather news poor girl was really suffering in the wind and rain, I don't think it is really required for them to stand out in adverse conditions like that just in order to demonstrate how bad the weather is.

 

Having said that the weather on the south coast with recorded gust of 90mph looks pretty grim and they say there is worst to come

It's windy here, too. One of those days when I wish I didn't own a dog LOL

 

I was going to start a thread about the 'outdoors' thing the other day. I'm often about early in the morning and watch the news. They have to have somebody 'live at the scene' with every bulletin these days, it seems. Unnecessary at the best of times - pointless when it's dark!

It's wet and windy here, seems stronger than the last set of 'gales' - when one of my fence panels got blown down, and I noticed another one bowing nicely this morning, from what I could in the dark before I left for work.

 

It appears we're likely to get a spell of snow next week, so that could be fun, or not.

Started snowing last night and still snowing. 6" - 8" deep now. We won't be going anywhere for the next few days. The 4X4 is in the garage for a new wheel bearing so we are effectively snowed in.

ken if only they would wear realy tight little tshirts with no bras they would be ok.

70 mile an hour gales here, trees down some roads closed, Dartford toll bridge closed, 5 mile tail backs on M25, isle of sheppy bridge closed tail backs.

Told not to venture out.

 

So pretty much a normal day, here in Kent.

Looks like the surf coming over the prom, have seen it worse than that done there, mind you that was a few years back Well to be truthful lots of years back

 

Still pretty much the same here, a strong wind but nothing as yet to cause alarm, the rain has eased a bit so I will pop down the bank and let them know I'm still alive and taking a few ackas

That bit is a flat beach though, its still there on the updated image, could be a beached whale, or worse, the michelin man.
