How is the Weather down your way?

Recommended Posts

Will try to send some over; just had 17 inches of rain in the last 3 days and the humidity is 99%

After 5 days, we ended up with 26.5 inches of rain and more on the way........ :clap2:

5 yards behind my back yard.

That, Chesters, depends on where one lives, how much $ you have, and how much you like to mow grass in the summer. You have a photo of yours?

Severus, I think you'll find a 'yard' is three feet, in the US, as well as the UK.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

February's usually the time I plant my garlic and shallots.

It's something I usually have to force myself to do, with a bitter February bite to the wind, and ice-cold soil that freezes the hands.

Being dry and sunny, and with all trace of last night's frost gone, I went out today.

Lightly forking in a bag of worm compost, and clearing the winter weed from the soil, I was soon stripped down to just my T-shirt, in February!

Not only that, but the soil was warm and full of lob worms, just an inch or so down (collected plenty for the Itchen trip in a couple of weeks :) )

In fact it was so warm and pleasant working in the garden, I did a few more jobs as well, reluctant to go back inside.

Perhaps I should have read it again. Still, I think Chesters should post his back yard.
