Unfortunately NO!! Can get cheap calls and am doing so, but can't get BB!! But I am on the list. No Wdoo is the only way I can get online at present as is the whole of this area!! Bloomin shambles methinks. And NOW you have VIRGIN in the UK as well??? Personally I would be at 'em like a rat up a drainpipe!! One company I never had ANY bother with!!

 

TYPICAL!!! Just go to post this and??? Guess sh1t and guess right!!! DOWN goes the connection again!!

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

every time i go to check my position in the team i am there for about 10 seconds then i vanish

any clues as to why ,

i am logged in when this occurred if i close the page then reopen it i am logged out, :unsure:

newt is now the number one place holder on RAC

 

I switched to running the app as a service (so it works any time the PC is powered up rather than needing a user to be logged in) and it seemed to speed up the processing even though I am logged on basically 7x24. I think the 'run as a service' is more efficient and since I don't use a screen saver, there is no downside.

 

I am a little surprised though since I know several folks run faster processors than I do and should be crunching faster.

I have always run as a service, and am not big on screen savers. The seti service is much more efficient. The guys with faster processors are not powered up very often or are running as a screen saver or both. Make more of your crunching time by running boinc as a service.
