I wonder if they allow teachers to wear wedding rings! They are not "religeous artifacts" either

If its a wedding ring then they will have a licence, can't see any problem with that.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Maybe so, but remember your childhood? (I remember mine, and I am in my 60's) I would promise a girl heaven and earth to get to that "magical" place! With that and peer pressure and the fall of sexual standards in the last decade or so and I would think it is bl00dy hard for the kids of today and would welcome a "crutch"

i think its the "crutch" most are after especially the boys

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

Hello everybody, I'm back, had a few probs so not been on for a month or so, but had fun catching up on some of the posts.

I see from this one that the same old 'anglers' are still casting a lure, and the same old 'fish' are still biting. ( more bites than an overstocked carp puddle ;) ).

A couple of points. First, the longest thread, (apart from the 'Photo of the day'). I think you've still a bit to go, because I think this http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/forums/index.p...ing+coarse+fish, is the longest, but I'm ready to be proved wrong.

Secondly, the young lady and her ring. I'm acquainted with someone who knows a member of her family, and even that family member doesn't understand the logic behind the ring. Surely a ribbon or the like, sewn onto her knickers would be more apt, or even those knickers with NO ENTRY printed on them.

My own views are, that if it is to help her to stay chaste, (not chased, chesters :P ), then she must think that there is a chance of losing her virginity at school, within school hours. (Biology was never like that in my day :( ).

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Well John, (welcome back by the way!) it would appear that the parents were responsible for raising the "discrimination" of the decision.

It would appear that this decision was taken for other reasons than have been revealed.

All I can say is, rightly or wrongly, if the girl thinks it will work for her, why stop her, it is not as if it will interfere with her schooling!
