Well John, (welcome back by the way!) it would appear that the parents were responsible for raising the "discrimination" of the decision.

It would appear that this decision was taken for other reasons than have been revealed.

All I can say is, rightly or wrongly, if the girl thinks it will work for her, why stop her, it is not as if it will interfere with her schooling!

 

It allready has with all the publicity she and her parents have attracted, sounds as if the parents where publicity seekers in any event. how much disruption has been caused to the school and her class mates i wonder.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Yes, I will agree with that Barry, but I still feel that if the school had left her alone, and told the parents that they wern't happy, maybe all the hullaballoo would not have happened!

Apparently the court ordered her father to pay £12000 towards the schools court costs, i wonder if all the new orders from the free advertising they got will make enough money to cover those costs? plus i wonder how much the airtime they got from the tv companies alone was worth to the ring thing company. Either way shes now got a 12 grand reminder to keep her legs shut.

She has left the school for one with a level playing field. If the school rule is NO jewelry, there are no exceptions. That is what should happen here, then you wouldn't have jurors listening to an MP3 player during a trial!

I have had enough of Muslims, Hindus, Chinese etc. all saying I WANT IT DONE MY WAY!!

We are in ENGLAND for goodness sake, we have enough problems here! We have Catholics and Protestants against each other, we don't NEED any more.

Now we have people in this country saying no Christmas as "it offends other religions"

The red cross refuse to celebrate Christmas - Does the Red Crescent not celebrate the Asian holidays?
