Hey Guys,

 

See alot of anglers have tv's these days and think im going to get one meself. Could someone tell me or give me some ideas on a decent tv.. not to small like 3.5" e.t.c 5+, im after having one with a power pack. Can be either color or black and white.

why not get a coffee table and a couple of arm chairs as well :headhurt::blink:

BZ. I was tempted to be sarcastic as well but the guy is only on post #2 so I decided to give him a break.

those awfull seethrough ones seen at every carboot in the land run off mains 12v or inbuilt battery holder ,they need retuning frequently and the batteries dont last long ,pretty poor but theres little else that runs on inbuilt batteries ,the next step is a car battery and flat screen but its hardly weatherproof.

get yourself a game gear and tv dooda and magnifier,if theres nothing on tv you can play columns ,the batteries are AA's (6) but lighter than a 12v one, colour too :thumbs:

trouble is with tv's unless theres a really good signal your then toting about an arial etc

A small generator would solve the power problem. :unsure:
