There is a company a stone's throw from here that builds and exports hovercraft all over the world. They sell to Argentina and Australia. If a Hampshire company can do that then so can a Kent company.

So according to you then they are not using CE certified craft. How is it that a company, not two hundred yards from my front door, Hov Pod Hovercraft are able to export their products, but the c ompany in Kent cannot?

 

Don't FFS me! There is ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to stop ANY country in Europe trading with Brazil. Zero.

As i said perhaps the contract includes some special design the CE mark cannot be given for(unshielded blades or sharp pointy things brazil doesnt give a crap about) ? Its not the EU 's place to enforce CE marks on brazil is it ? or are the EU trying to enforce its will on all of the world and decide what products they can use?

 

I can see a bit of sence insisting imports meet a certain standard (ignored in the case of CE) but insisting the rest of the planet abide by them rediculous ,if brazil has no problem with pointy things on hovercraft what business is it of the EU?

If brazil has pointy things in the design they want and we cannot supply it the EU is dictating who we trade with ,fine with exporting hovercraft without pointy bits to the EU i am sure but interfereing overseas far above their power

Come back when you know what you are talking about. CE markings and exporting to non EU countries are not related. I'd bet a pound to a penny that if she wants to export to Canada or the US their specifications will likely be more stringent than CE specs. Here is the difference between us Chesters, you have swallowed her BS and I have not.

I havnt read her bullshit but nothing i said was untrue ,i said the EU refused to allow her to trade with brazil for years and it was two years ago i came across it so couldnt remember the details .

The CE mark was mentioned by someone else i merely brought it into my postings from then on as some examples of why or why not it maybe true
