How do you know your not just a brain in a vat? How do you know your not a sim in a computer simulation belonging to some intelligence that you cannot even begin to comprehend?

 

 

We could be but to get all the variants we experience through life it would have to be some programmer so good infact he would be regarded as a god

That sounds like a half decent plot for a film cory. We could all be wired up to a massive network where we mentally interact with each other, and imaginary surroundings. There could even be some who had 'broken out' of the system, and are planning to free the rest of us. You could call it, errm....oh I don't know, just of the top of my head....The Matrix. Sounds like a winner to me. :thumbs:

 

As to the computer thing, the 'intelligence' must be either a right evil ba****d, or pretty crap at their job. They could have thought up a better scenario than the one we got.

I've just had a thought, (well I think it was me who thought it, not sure anymore), I could be the only brain in the vat, and everyone, everything else is just my 'imagination'. If that's the case, I think I'll 'pull the plug now', I couldn't live with the thought that I'd 'created' the things I see and hear. That's if I can think, or even that I am alive, to start off with.

 

Then again, I could have just had some cheese for supper, and it's all a bad dream.

Best go jump off a bridge now then. Everything you see and hear is created by your brain. Your senses don't work in the common sense way that you think that they do.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
