They were interviewing Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump's senior adviser regarding the Meryl Streep tweets and others. Particularly with reference to Trumps disgusting display mocking a disabled reporter.

She actually said that it is all our fault, we should not listen to what comes out of his mouth but what is in his heart. No, really, and this woman has an important role in the US government.

Yes, that was definitely one of the most cringeworthy moments of trumps campaign.

He's spot on about Meryl Streep though. Can anybody think of a good movie that she's been in?

The only movie of hers that I can think of if "Death becomes her" and that's hardly a classic or a great performance.

All,

Easy boys !!! She's my heroine. Meryl that is. I thought she did well in the Julia Childs movie. Also I liked Kramer v. Kramer (5 Oscars and best supporting actress for her). She's just a class act, perhaps you two don't know much about being classy?

As for Kellyanne Conway, the "importance" of her position is impossible. "Keep Trump out of trouble". Originally she was Ted Cruz's front person. She knows how to take on tough assignments. While I disagree with her 99.9% of the time I will credit her with being rather clever on her feet. May I remind you she is responding to Mr. Trumps antics unrehearsed.

The Deer Hunter, The Manchurian Candidate, Out of Africa, Silkwood, Suffragette, and of course the favourite of so many on here, 'The Iron Lady'

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

The problem is that most if not all speak or give opinions within their win agenda without considering all the facts, from my own personal agenda, I object to anyone who has gained the supposive credentials to speak or give opinion to the media and, that such opinions are circulated merely for the fact that the person has found a calling or profession which has enabled them to make shed loads of money for themselves. There are lots on the list these days, she is but another.

Personally If I ever had the misfortune to meet her, I would not ask her what right she has to comment on Trump, because everybody has the right to opinion, more I would question her on her support for Roman Polowski.

As an aside, just watched Dailiy Politics, interesting three photos and a game of name these people, firstly Jeremy Corbyn's son who is employed as Chief of Staff to some senior Minister, then Nicola Sturgeon's husband, gainfully employed as Chief Executive of SNP. Lastly was Nigel Farage's wife, who "stays out of the limelight but comments that her husband drinks and smokes too much!"

The day I see them doing something for somebody else is the day I might consider listening to them!

And by doing something for somebody else I don't mean stand up on telly and ask people who have little to give, to give more to charity.

"My imaginary friend doesn't like your imaginary friend is no basis for armed conflict...."
